Meet the Doctor

Dr. Dorys Vargas, O.D.

Optometrist

Dorys Vargas, OD, was born in Quito, Ecuador and immigrated to southern California at the age of 6, where she has resided since. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside in 2003, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 2008.

Dr. Vargas has provided eye care in the Inland Empire since 2010, and is looking forward to serving the surrounding community in this new location. Along with providing optometric care, Dr. Vargas greatly enjoys getting to know her patients and creating lasting relationships.

When she is not providing eyecare, Dr. Vargas enjoys spending time with her family and rescue pup, attending sporting events, and traveling.

Dr. Michelle Alcala, O.D.

Optometrist

Michelle Alcala, OD, was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside in 2018, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 2022.

Dr. Alcala worked as an Optometric technician and intern for Dr. Vargas prior to becoming an Optometrist herself. She is familiar with the importance of building a relationship with patients and the importance of excellent patient care.

When not with patients, Dr. Alcala enjoys spending her free time with her cats, cooking, and going to concerts and festivals.
